Last night Ruthie and I were up entirely too late uploading pictures and posting to the website. We had lost track of time since the sun stayed with us for so long. At 2300 local it was still quite light, by midnight it was still light to the south but dark to the north and the sun was full bright again by 0400.
We were up early for the geology lecture but had to nap during the history talk. Between the rocking of the ship, the travel fatigue getting this far and sea sick medications, napping has become a favorite ship board past time for everyone. We were rested up for the seal and penguin lectures. Should be seeing them sometime tomorrow. We have seen a number of albatross. I had no idea their wingspan is 15ft.
While the ship is rocking quite a bit, the seas are much calmer than I was hoping for. Still, sic-sacs have been place strategically about the ship. And let me tell you, these are industrial sized behemoth sic-sacs.
Tonight we managed to turn the innocent game of UNO into a most excellent drinking drinking game with our new friends.
Oh, did I mention, our bathroom has heated tile floors? As my nephew Sean would say, “Ah, this is the life!”
Our new friends invited us to play with them after dinner.

The view from our most amazing suite.

Justin praying he does not get time out tomorrow.

Making the Crew play with us.

Our industrial strength sic-sacs. Up to now, we haven't needed them but it's good to know they are there.
