Another Rescue at Sea

We woke up this morning in a sea of ice.

We were sailing through a huge ice field and admiring the enormous icebergs, when someone spotted a small life ring bobbing in the ice. The ship launched the Man Overboard boat to retrieve it and indeed it was a ring from the sunken Explorer. The artifact has been safely secured on the MV Fram.

Just as I was typing this, another artifact has been spotted in the water and there is some speculation that it is a light with the black box.

The photos are spectacular! I'm sure they don't do it justice...no camera could. Catherine, I don't remember if there was a panoramic mode on your camera, if not, follow the horizon frame by frame and I can stitch them together to create a panoramic shot. We can do it when you get home. Have a shot for me!
